The brief
Develop the ground floor of a former guesthouse into an outdoor experience booking and rental hub, bringing activity bookings, equipment hire and retail together under the Coastal Adventure Hub identity.
The challenge
Give several functions a clear place within one interior: a welcoming point of arrival, a setting for conversations about activities, equipment displays and space to pause before heading outdoors.
Design response
Curved joinery and seating soften the route through the space. Timber, clay-toned finishes and a mineral-inspired floor connect the interior to the Cornish landscape, while teal upholstery, planting and warm lighting establish a welcoming atmosphere.
Our contribution
The proposal combines concept development, space planning, bespoke counter and display ideas, material selection, lighting concepts and 3D visualisation.
Design intent
Create a memorable starting point for outdoor experiences, with a clear brand presence and an interior that supports browsing, booking and social connection.
